Mengniu hopes to upgrade its dairy standards to EU standards

In recent years, Mengniu has not only set up factories in New Zealand and Indonesia, but also acquired Dutch R & D SieveCorp and Australian organic milk powder and supplementary food Bellamy.

Lu Minfang, president of Mengniu, said at the 11th CCTV Financial Forum on December 29 that China could become the world’s largest dairy and food market in the next five years. At the same time, he also released Mengniu’s plan for the past five years.

One of the plans is to further internationalize. Mengniu hopes to raise the standard of Mengniu products to the EU standard within five years. Pandayoo once reprinted an article “The Past of Chinese Milk Powder” on a series of issues concerning the standards and quality of dairy products in China. It must be noted that although the quality of dairy products in China has been greatly improved, there is still a gap between China and the international advanced level.

In recent years, Mengniu has not only set up factories in New Zealand and Indonesia, but also acquired Dutch R & D SieveCorp and Australian organic milk powder and supplementary food Bellamy.

Lu Minfang also said that Mengniu will produce more cheese and milk powder. As far as China is concerned, to some extent, this is to occupy the relatively blank market of domestic cheese and domestic milk powder.

In addition, Mengniu is no longer only concerned about its main production of room temperature milk, Mengniu and Coca-Cola cooperation between the low-temperature milk brand has finally been announced. Pandayoo also reported the rumor “Coca-Cola and Mengniu joint venture to create a new low-temperature milk brand” earlier this year.
