Bright Dairy launches joint products for Mars exploration in China

12:41 on July 23, at the China Wenchang Space launch site on the northeast coast of Hainan Island, China successfully launched the first Mars exploration mission, the Tianwen-1 probe, into the scheduled orbit with a Long March 5 Yao IV carrier rocket, taking the first step in China’s planetary exploration. Chinese food company Bright Dairy has become the only strategic partner of China’s Mars exploration project in the food industry.

On July 23, the Bright Dairy Live probe was launched on Taobao Live platform, with a total of more than 300,000 viewers. In the live broadcast, Liu Haoran, the spokesman of Bright yogurt products, showed off the new Mars exploration joint product “Mars Flavor Communication Gift Box” launched by the company.

The limited edition of the “Martian flavor gift box” is limited to 10,000. Each gift box has its own code, the appearance is made of silver-white metal, and the interior simulates the Martian surface design. The gift box is equipped with a simulated space communication panel, and has its own audio and FM radio, which can listen to the space radio. 

The box is equipped with a space gift blind box. Consumers will randomly get CZ-38 rocket fragments or space meteorite fragments certified in 1576 / 1906. In terms of the main product yogurt, the gift box contains not only the Moslian Star Kitchen dessert yogurt series, but also Martian-flavored yogurt inspired by the peculiar lava landscape of Mars. Martian yogurt is not a limitied product and will be distributed separately in the future.

As the first Chinese company to send strains to outer space on a spacecraft, Bright Dairy carried patented strains with independent intellectual property rights-Lactobacillus casei LC2W and Lactobacillus Plantarum ST- III-on the Shenzhou 7 spacecraft as early as 2008. In 2014, Bright Dairy officially became a joint venture for quality assurance of lunar exploration projects in China.

Bright Dairy is a local dairy enterprise in Shanghai, China, which developed and grew at the beginning of the 21st century and has become a food enterprise with a certain influence in the whole country. Different from normal temperature milk enterprises such as Yili and Mengniu located in the northern prairie, Bright’s early main products are low-temperature milk, which makes some consumers think that Bright’s taste and nutrition are better.
