NetEase said they planned to hold a conference on AI in the Northern Song Dynasty in their game Justice Online.

According to the latest news, Hu Zhipeng, a vice president of Chinese online game company NetEase, recently announced that they will use one of their games to help hold this year’s International Conference on Distributed Artificial Intelligence (hereinafter referred to as ADAI).

ADAI is an academic international conference launched in 2019. As its name suggests, it focuses on the research and application of distributed artificial intelligence.

According to the official website of the conference, this year’s meeting, originally planned to be held in Nanjing, China, from October 24 to 27, 2020. Although there have been no cases of COVID-19 in Nanjing for more than four months since the end of March, the meeting has been changed to fully online in order to prevent potential risks. NetEase is the gold sponsor of this meeting, which gives it the opportunity to show its technical strength.

The venue prepared by NetEase for this meeting is “Justice Online“(逆水寒), an open-world role-playing online game with the theme of Jianghu, originally released in 2018. The game is known for its extremely gorgeous pictures and rich interactivity, and the game was originally used as an “A Jianghu that can feel the breath.” in the slogan. The background of the game is the Northern Song Dynasty.

NetEase will set up a special scene for the meeting in Justice Online. The game scene is the same as the game style and adopts the ancient Chinese architecture and decoration style. When entering the meeting, participants can use the game’s complex customization system to fully customize their avatar, including gender, figure, face, clothing, and accessories.

Because the client capacity of the full version of Justice Online is as big as 49G, and real-time loading is still used in the game to expand the scene.
